Telia responds to consumer criticism of mobile broadband services which has affected all mobile operators in Sweden. They are the first operator to launch a speed map on the Internet that shows customers practical (not theoretical) minimum and maximum speeds that are usually achieved in any location across the country.
"Summer is high season for domestic travel in Sweden and people want to be able to connect to the internet with their mobile broadband, whether they are in the cottage, boat or caravan. By introducing our Speed map, we want to make it even easier for our customers all over the whole country to see what practical speeds are achievable in their location." says Erik Hallberg, head of Mobility Services at TeliaSonera in Sweden.
